What makes Travel with Boys different?

With the dedicated focus of making travel better and easier for families with boys up to the age of 17, Travel with Boys has a unique international audience. There is a huge movement of parents of only boys and majority boys (especially mothers of boys) coming together to share experiences, seek advice and find information and inspiration.

What also makes this blog different is I am a highly experienced writer, marketer, communicator and a mother of boys. I have 20 years experience in marketing communications and public relations, and a great aptitude in understanding the needs and language of my clients and their audiences. I strive to create engaging stories and content, and love that this blog brings together my major passions in life.

Who is Nicci?

I’m a marketing communications consultant, writer and blogger that loves everything about travel.

For the past twenty years I have been helping other businesses to promote their products and services. I have written innumerable e-newsletters, websites, social media posts, media releases, magazine articles, brochures, SlideShares and other promotional material. I have developed and implemented a significant number of quality marketing and communication campaigns, strategies and plans, and conducted numerous brand and communication audits.

Since 2002 I have run my own marketing communications consultancy working with a wide range of industries throughout Australia. In 2016 I decided to change my focus and specialise in travel and tourism.

I hold a Bachelor of Business (Communications) from the Queensland University of Technology and am a Certified Practising Marketer and Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). The AMI is the leading professional body for marketers in Australia.
